I stared at a wall, a flat white wall,
I saw a wall staring at me with wide open eyes
I stared at you and you stared back
We laughed and then, cried,
We went to bed.
I reached over, you responded
Then it was the morning.
I started at the ceiling
I saw a fan saluting me to a brand new day
The coffee machine is noisy,
But, in the end revitalizing
And there goes the day
Wishing I had something to say
The sparkler spits water,
But grass is not what the old man said to be
Because it has not listen
